The Brief: While working at G Empire Media we received a brief to create content for an influencer campaign for Coca Cola and the talent we worked with was Candice Modiselle.
The Execution: My role throughout this campaign was giving creative direction and editing. This involved coming up with creative ideas and overseeing the execution of them. It also included editing (cutting, colour grading, and adding vfx).
Well-produced influencer videos can have a lasting impact beyond their initial release date. They can continue to generate views, engagement, and brand awareness over time, serving as valuable evergreen content for the brand.
Homecoming events
(BSV)
The Brief: I received a briefing from (BSV) representing Home Coming Events to create a compelling live edit within 2-3 hours, that showcases the ambiance of the events.
The Execution: Before going to the event, I need to ensure I have all my necessary assets ready and that the music I plan to use is preapproved. Additionally, I'll craft a motion graphic to add a distinctive touch and an extra layer of appeal to the video.
Live editing allows for immediate creation and broadcasting of content during the event. This real-time engagement keeps the audience involved and connected, enhancing their overall event experience. Live editing can add professional polish to the event's video content by incorporating graphics, transitions, and other visual elements in real time. This enhances the production value of the event and creates a more immersive viewing experience for attendees. Live editing eliminates the need for extensive post-production work, saving time and resources. By editing the video content on the fly, organizers can streamline the production process and deliver high-quality results more efficiently.
Homecoming Events

The Brief: I received a briefing from (BSV) representing Home Coming Events to edit a social media reel aiming to generate excitement and anticipation for their upcoming events.
The Execution: The event theme was “The Simpsons” and I employed the parallax effect with some masking and text animation to better align the event with the overall theme.
Motion graphics combine animation, text, and imagery to create visually appealing content that captures viewers' attention quickly. This helps in attracting potential customers and hold their interest longer than traditional static images or text. It also offers flexibility in terms of creativity and customization. Design elements such as colors, fonts, and animations can be tailored to match the brand's style and tone, allowing for greater creative control over the final product.
